The Cost of College - Student Research Survey

With new technology developing everyday it is expected that colleges will adapt as well. To keep prices down and more affordable schools need input on how that can be accomplished.

Survey is completely anonymous and will not in anyway reveal personal information. Information gathered via responses will be used in a media article to convey student view.

Boiling With Rage News - Cheerios Backlash Edition

This week I watched one of the best commercials from Cheerios yet! The little girl strolls up to her Mom in the kitchen asking whether Cheerios was heart healthy or not. The little girl is absolutely beautiful and I must admit just the cutest little girl ever! Once the mom answers her question she strolls off into the living room and pours her box of Cheerios on her fathers chest while he naps on the couch. When awakened the cheerios fall to the floor and confusion sets in. Adorable right?

Days later imagine my surprise when I read an article slamming Cheerios for this commercial. I was shocked and couldn't imagine what problem people had with the commercial, it was heart felt, hit home and was adorable, how could people have a problem with this commercial, did I miss something? Then I realized what people were pitching fits over....a biracial family. WHAT?!

This is the most amazing book for little boys! The minute my five year old opened the cover he was whisked away to train yard full of fun! The pages in this book are thicker than your average book but not qualified as a board book. The pages feature large, full size illustrations of various trains. The descriptions are filled with history, facts and fun tidbits every little kid is so eager to read.

As a Mom of four I have definitely spent a lot of time pregnant and reading through pregnancy books as if they were my daily instructions on how to simply survive pregnancy. First time Moms search frantically for the perfect book spending hundreds of dollars and often times left with a heaping pile of unasnwered questions and tattered pages.

The Christian Mama's Guide to Having A Baby by Erin MacPherson was a breath of fresh air. The book is filled with real life advice by an experienced real life Mom! The author, Erin, states in her forward that this book lacks medical jargon, and she holds true to that. When you are reading through the pages you get the feeling that you are at your Sunday fellowship potluck chatting around a table with your friends and pregnancy pro Erin MacPherson.
